Benefit and August tour date change

Hi ya'll
Just wanted to thank everybody who attended and helped contribute to raising money for Trish and her husband to pay for medical bills. Dave was not sure of the total amount raised but we will post it here when he finds out.
Secondly, because of a conflict it was decided to move the August brewery tour back a week to August 9th at 1pm. Hope nobody made plans already.
Again, thanks to everbody for both contributing to the benefit and also the very positive support we have received with Pine Belt Pale.

Hello all,
While this is not strictly Southern Star news, we are in part hosting a benefit for the family of one of our favorite bartenders at Molly's pub in Conroe, Texas. Trish's husband had a boating accident on lake conroe that has left him with a broken neck and a pile of bills. The benefit will be at Molly's in Conroe (off of 336 North) on Saturday July 12th from noon until ????. There will be a silent auction in which we are donating a few items (one of which is a private party at the brewery) and Specs Liquor has generously donated 4 beer signs (on of which is a killer neon) from various breweries. Our distributor Duff Beer, has also donated several .79gallon bottles of Saint Paul Abby Double. These beers are next to impossible to find and retail for $120 each, so here is your chance to get your hands on some killer monastic Belgian Double. The whole brew crew will be up there, so we hope to see you there!

Hi all!
As Dave mentioned previously there was an interview on Channel 13 news on June 16th about Southern Star Brewing. Thanks to the wonders of the internet here is a link to the video of that newsclip.
