Southern Star is Growing!

Howdy everybody!

Well I know many of you out there have been asking to get more of our beer on your favorite store's shelf(or pub).  And to be honest we just have not been able to keep up with the demand of all our fans out there.

Anyways, after many hassles we have finally received the funding we needed to help expand.  What does this expansion mean?  In this case it involves the purchase of 5 new 65 Barrel fermentation tanks.  The first of which is installed and fermenting a batch as I write this.  The next tank is due by the end of August while the remaining 3 will hopefully be setup by the end of September.
However, the biggest purchase of our funding is the addition of a new automated canning line which will help us keep up with the demands of all our thirsty fans out there, which will quadruple our canning speed(and is expandable to be even faster).  We are hoping this will be delivered the first week in September.

The other benefit of the new tanks and canning line is that it will allow us(thought not immediately) to start canning our Seasonal's(such as Walloon) and Pro-AM beers.

But thanks to everybody out there who has supported us through these past years(not to mention coming out in the Texas summer heat to our tours).  And even though are getting a bit bigger, we still plan on providing the same quality beers that ya'll have become passionate about.
